Ticket Correction Policy and Deadline

It shall be company policy that American Crystal Sugar Company shareholders are allowed delivery ticket transfers and corrections to be made through the 7th day following the date of station closure to which the delivery was made or October 31, whichever occurs first. Delivery ticket transfer refers to any delivery that is transferred from one contract to another. A service fee of $10 per delivery ticket transfer will apply to all transfers that exceed 3% of a grower unit’s total deliveries, and no delivery tickets will be allowed to be transferred more than one time.

Stay Pay Guidelines

Stay Pay Guidelines
1. Employee will be paid a minimum of 4hrs of pay for any weather event shutdown
2. If the shutdown occurs on M-F of the week, it will be paid as regular time(1x). If it occurs on a Sat-Sun, if will be paid at OT (1.5x) rate.
3. Employee will have to report to work on their next scheduled shift and punch in when their receiving station reopens in order to receive Stay Pay.
4. Stay pay will be paid out in the same pay period the shutdowns occur in.
5. If the weather event shutdown overlaps the pay period end, they will be paid stay pay. If they do not report to work when their site reopens, they will be subject to losing their bonus.
6. The 4hr minimum for stay pay only applies to stockpile harvest. During prepile, we will pay the normal 2hrs of show up pay if we haven’t updated the harvest hotline in time and employees report to work.
7. Employees will have to call the harvest hotline prior to their shift as always. If the hotline says to report to work, they will need to report to work in order to receive stay pay.
8. Any other situation is at full discretion of the ag staff.

MN DOT Information
NDAWN Weather Station Network

Upgrade The NDAWN Weather Stations are currently going through an electronic facelift. Dial-in phone numbers are being replaced by internet accessibility. What this means, is by using your smartphone, tablet, or computer, you can bookmark your favorite NDAWN Weather Station for even faster data access and information. The NDAWN Weather Network is doing an upgrade to all of the weather stations across North Dakota and Minnesota this summer. They are installing cell phones, new data loggers and modems. The upgrade allows for the data to be updated to the web site every 10 minutes instead of once a day. The modem change will take away the voice modem, so you will no longer be able to call in and get instant weather info spoken to you, but you will be able to link to the site with your smart phone, or other electronic device, and see up to date information updated every 10 minutes.

Stations already upgraded in the near American Crystal Sugar Company Growing Region are: Eldred, Fargo, Forest River, Humboldt, Kennedy, Leonard, Mayville, Perley, St. Thomas, and Warren.
